Screen Printing

Ink is pressed through a fine silk mesh screen onto the fabric surface. Ideal for bold single or multi-color designs at a cost-effective price point. Each colour requires a separate screen, so the technique shines on clean, high-contrast graphics and team logos. Widely used across sportswear, uniforms, and promotional apparel for its durability and vivid colour payoff.

Production Workflow

Phase 01

Artwork Separation

The design is broken into individual colour layers, each of which will get its own screen.

Phase 02

Screen Preparation

A fine silk mesh screen is stretched, coated with light-sensitive emulsion, and exposed to UV light through a film positive — hardening everything except the design area

Phase 03

Ink Application

The screen is locked onto the press, and ink is pushed through the open mesh onto the garment using a squeegee.

Phase 04

Flash Drying Between Colours

Each colour layer is flash-dried briefly so the next screen can be printed on top without smudging.

Phase 05

Final Cure

The garment passes through a conveyor dryer at ~160°C, permanently bonding the ink to the fabric for long-lasting wear.
